Job Description:
The Regional Pharmacy Technician (RPT) is a vital position in
the retail pharmacy and therefore plays an important part in the
success of our stores. This job demands a professional, caring and
service-oriented attitude. For this position, a person must be good
with people, patient, understanding, and able to work while a
variety of different tasks that are going on simultaneously, always
leading by example and nurturing/maintaining our HomeTown
mission.The Regional Pharmacy Technician reports directly to the
Sr. Director of Operations helping to cover vacations, provide
support to any assigned location, in alignment with HomeTown
Pharmacy policy. The RPT acts as a role model of professionalism,
ethical behavior, and effective decision-making. HomeTown is built
on the commitment of serving others - customer, community, teammate
and company. The RPT is held to high standards and always leads by
example in maintaining our HomeTown mission.The job expectations
and responsibilities of a Regional Pharmacy Technician include:Must
be PTCB certified and maintain credentialsCertified Technician
ImmunizerCPR CertifiedBe willing to travel the state, have schedule
flexibility, and at times stay overnight.All activities included in
the Pharmacy Technician Job Description.Strong communication skills
- listening, verbal and written to provide feedback to the Sr.
Director of Operations.Prioritization skills - ability to assess
situations and prioritize based on the need and benefit of location
and company.Do whatever is deemed necessary for creating a
