Job Description:

Canyon Equities is a professional services team that supports the following companies; Custer, CS Erickson and FastSigns. We provide highly desired resources in the following functional areas, Information Technology, Finance and Human Resources.--and financial support services. This position will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments ensuring transactions are timely and accurate, and that remittances are accurately coded and allocated.--RESPONSIBILITIESVerifies and records payments made to the company, reconciles balances and maintains recordsPrepare regular reports on the status of accounts, aging reports, and collection activity for management review. Monitor Accounts Receivable/collections Reconcile daily and monthly deposits Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts as needed Process monthly bank reconciliations Assist with the month-end closing process Process and send invoices to clients or customers, ensuring all relevant information is accurate and complete Creates the daily activity report (DAR) Additional duties as assigned--REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEnergetic, self-starter with a positive attitudeTeam player with the ability to work independentlyStrong attention to detail with well-developed organizational and communication skillsKnowledge of general accounting principles.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelAbility to handle sensitive financial information with discretion--EXPERIENCE / EDUCATIONBachelor's degree in accounting a plus1-3 years' experience in an accounting roleCanyon will provide a competitive compensation plan.-- You will also receive a generous benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k) with company match.PId0a3fe1340a4-25660-35879144
