• Certification Details
• Registry in Pediatric Cardiography
• Must hold RDCS or CCI registry from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• BLS Certification
  • Job Details
  • 6-8 patients per 8 hour shift
  • Strong experience/skills in Pediatrics. Adults experience preferred but not required.
  • 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Definity contrast agent, Transesophageal Echo (TEE)
  • Calculations: Simpson's Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area.
  • Call Requirement: After hours standby one day per weekdays (M - F) and weekends (Friday evening to Monday at 0700) every fourth or fifth weekend. Additional pediatric only standby once a month weekend coverage
  • Weekend Requirement: Every forth to fifth weekend per dept rotation - happens in conjunction with call requirement
  • Float Requirement: Inpatient and outpatient medical practice settings at BMH
  • Other requirements: Registry in Pediatric Cardiography. Must hold RDCS or CCI registry from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
