Job Description:

A company is looking for a Principal Database Engineer responsible for the strategic design and management of cloud and hosting infrastructure for database services.



Key Responsibilities

Guide support teams and serve as the escalation point for complex database issues
Design and manage scalable, secure cloud and hosting database environments
Oversee compliance with technical standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field
10+ years of experience in cloud and hosting infrastructure management
Demonstrated experience in hybrid, multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and regulatory compliance standards
