leadership in the resolution of complex electronic commodity issues
in a design/manufacturing environment.You will make impacts in the
following ways:
- Work closely with electronics component commodity engineers and
program teams to resolve component issues in regard to
obsolescence, technical changes, part shortages, failures,
etc.
- Reviewing, recommending and approving electronics component
selection for development programs.
- Make informed part recommendations to Circuit Designers and
Product Designers that meet application requirements.
- Partner with suppliers to understand future offerings, their
roadmaps and work with BAE circuit and product engineers to
understand BAE's system needs for future designs.
- Partner closely with a Technology Review Board for evaluating
new part technologies for use in new designs.Required Education,
Experience, & Skills
- Bachelors in Electronics Engineering and 6 or more years'
experience with selecting electronic components in Mil/Aero
electronic systems.
- Experience in electronic components used in commercial and
military applications for aerospace and transportation
platforms.
- Demonstrate a positive interest in meeting customer needs
including component cost impacts on systems costs and
schedules/deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Education,
Experience, & Skills
- Masters in Electronics Engineering
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- 8+ years' experience with selecting electronic components in
Mil/Aero and Power and Propulsion electronic systems.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $89280 - $151740Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
