Job Description:

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer, Cybersecurity to lead the design and implementation of security capabilities across all technology platforms.



Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the overarching cybersecurity product, ensuring alignment with security strategy and regulatory requirements
Lead security architecture reviews for new systems and IT projects, and design security controls for cloud and on-premise environments
Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Product teams to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle and mentor cybersecurity professionals



Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
15+ years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years in a security architecture role
Strong experience with regulatory and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA and SOC2
Experience with cloud security in multi-cloud environments, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred
